Big Mama's House Inc.
Located in Memphis, TN, we are strategically positioned to serve in an area where vulnerable children and at-risk youth comprise this population. We offer mental and emotional support, safe housing, life skills training, transitional living services, and case management, all underpinned by trauma-informed care. Each of these services is designed to meet the unique needs of our children and youth, ensuring they receive the support and guidance they need to thrive.
Our agency’s foundation was built on the strong desire to positively impact the lives of vulnerable children and young adults. Our founder, who has firsthand experience with the struggles of these individuals, recognized the urgent need for a safe haven where children could find comfort, guidance, and a chance at a better future. Being from Memphis, she understands the unique challenges facing our communities and children. Our agency acknowledges the gaps in services available to these children, so we established an organization that promotes hope, healing, and holism.
